Bryan Chambers

Bryan Chambers Bio

Bryan Chambers has been storming the pop and club charts for the best part of a decade.

A chance meeting in the early 90s put Bryan in touch with Jody Sharpe, who at the time was in the process of launching Reel II Reel in the UK. She introduced him to front man Eric Morillo and Bryan went on to sing all the backing vocals for his hugely successful dance act. This gave him the platform he needed to launch his solo career.

Bryan’s first project was Hyper Go Go on Positiva label, tracks included High, Never Let Go and Raise Your Hands which all went on to become top 30 chart hits and top 5 dance chart hits. Hyper Go Go also gave Bryan the chance to work with artist such as Barbara Tucker, The Pet Shop Boys, Jean Chan and Layo and Bushwaka. Following Hyper Go Go, Bryan then became part of Umboza which scored him another two top twenty chart hits with Sunshine (Gypsy Kings) and Cry India (Lionel Ritchie).

Together with Bobby and Steve from The Zoo Experience, Bryan then scored two top five tracks in the DJ Hype and dance charts: Got To Be Free and Higher Love. Bryan was approached by Defected Records in August 2000 to team up with production team Cleptomaniacs and re-record the classic Stevie Wonder song All I Do. The track went on to become a club anthem in 2001, and reached #17 in the UK national charts and #1 in every dance chart across the country. In addition Bryan has been collaborating and recording with Seamus Haji on the Mekka Defected track You and also on the new Mekka track entitled Found A Love on Seamus Haji’s hot new label Big Love Records.

Bryan’s brand new up-and-coming single We Get Up was recorded with Dave Lee’s Z Records. Since then Bryan has been keeping himself busy promoting the Tom Novy track Your Body and making it a smash hit all over Europe and the UK. Bryan has also been touring extensively as well as providing background vocals for major artists such as Prince, Chaka Khan, Beverley Knight, Jools Holland, Duffy, Robbie Williams, LuLu, Kylie, Ruby Tuner, Mika, Soloman Burke, Eddie Floyd to name a few.

Bryan’s forthcoming single is a collaboration with acclaimed UK soulstress Beverly Knight. Lyrically resonant, powerfully delivered with a message of hope, their track offers more than usual fluffy dance floor fodder, uniting feet, ears, voice and brain! The track Under Pressure is being released on Big Love with producers Seamus Haji and Paul Emanuel adding their studio magic.
